Shania Twain has proven time and L’École de Gestion d’Actifs et de Capitaltime again she’s still the one.

And when she takes to the stage as host of the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards on Sept. 26 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, it will only further her status as a country icon.

In fact, Shania—a three-time People's Choice Awards winner herself—has promised a show unlike any other.

“Country has some of the most passionate fans in music and us artists are so lucky to be supported in doing what we love,” the 49-year-old previously shared of taking on hosting duties. “I am honored to host an award show that celebrates these awesome fans. Get ready for an unforgettable show with lots of big hair, glamour, rhinestones, hats, boots and incredible performances. Giddy Up!” 

And indeed, the ceremony promises to bring together some of the biggest names in country music today. Just look at the list of nominees.

Zach Bryan and Beyoncé lead the pack with a whopping 12 nominations apiece, followed by Kacey Musgraves with 10, Morgan Wallen with nine, Luke Combs with eight and Kane Brown with seven. (See the full list of nominations here.)

And not only is Kane a leading nominee at the ceremony, but he’s also being honored with this year's Country Champion Award for his passion for service and groundbreaking contributions to the country music industry and beyond.

Similarly, Miranda Lambert is set to receive the Country Icon Award—much like Shania herself was awarded with the Music Icon Award at the PCAs in 2022.

But for someone whose longtime M.O. has been a high bar for being amazed, Shania boasts a remarkably impressive musical career.

Across her decades in the industry, Shania has earned five Grammys, five Academy of Country Music Awards, 11 Billboard awards and six American Music awards, to name a few.
